Fifth Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

It would probably be better, all things considered, if Jeff never ever talked to Jack ever again.

As it was, he was standing (well, hanging over the back of the couch) in the common room, watching television, wearing shorts and a naked cat (on his shoulder, not anywhere dirty), and not really much else.

He was watching nature documentaries again. He may have been explaining a few mildly obscene things to Prince Oscar Pedro in the process.

[ Open. Chad's cat modded with permission. I'll be around for the next hour, should anyone actually be up, then pick up any potential dangly pings when I get home, which will probably be right about when everybody gets up ]

"Alec," he said, smiling as he offered a hand. "Nice to see you've gotten into the spirit of Fandom already."

Jeff shook Alec's hands. He was probably still grinning, but for the purpose of speeding things up, refrained from mentioning it further. "You have to appreciate these sorts of attitudes to nudity," he observed, "Gets you past the culture shock, doesn't it?"

"That's usually my thought," he agreed, giving Jeff an approving look. "It's a good ice breaker and shows you've got confidence -- everyone wins!"

"I feared the nudity at first," Jeff said, looking philosophical, "But then I met Prince Oscar Pedro." He gave the cat a tiny, friendly wiggle; the cat nuzzled his neck in return, "I realigned some of my priorities."

Alec eyed the cat, seeming somewhat dubiously. "...He made you okay with nudity?"

"He has a very fresh outlook on nudity," Jeff said, "I'd never thought of it that way before." He paused, "Also I talked to Jack."

"See, that makes a lot more sense," Alec said. "Jack is very persuasive in the removing clothes department."
