Cheer camp! SHOW, gym, 14:00, Sunday

The gym was set up with left over cookies, drinks and much space for the audience to watch the cheerleaders perform. Buffy would probably go out and bodily drag audience in if necessary, but she hoped the combination of cookies and short skirts would do her job for her.

He cupped her cheek, trailing his thumb over her bottom lip. "Shirtless and warm... you against me."

Johnny was very pleased with Savannah's reaction to him. "Well, it was my idea and I usually have good ones," he grinned cheekily. He didn't always have good ideas, he just liked to think he did.

So far... she had enjoyed most of his ideas.

"Oh, Johnny? Do me a favor? Don't freak when Chad throws me high into the air? He's never missed a catch."

His brows shot up. "Chad? Chad the big assed Mexican?"

Savannah smiled and nodded. "He's the tallest on our squad and he can toss us pretty high. Annette will be tossing me high enough to do back flips before I land on the ground, too. Chad tosses us high enough that he has to catch us."

She was probably unaware that this could be cause for concern.

Yeah, and Johnny wasn't liking it. The look on his face said pretty much just that.

"I don't know if that is such a good idea, Savannah. You're little and you're trying to get over being thrown into a wall."

She lay a hand against his face. "I do this every week, sweetheart."

Being little is how come she can get thrown around so well in practice and shows and...

...well, into walls, sometimes, too.

"But you don't get thrown into walls every week. I know you've got to be sore still," he said, looking into her eyes.

Savannah bit her lip and then she nodded. "A little bit," she agreed. She might be understating it so he didn't worry.

"I knew it," he said low. He looked over her shoulder at the rest of the cheerleaders. It wasn't like he could tell her no.

"If it bothers you in any way, quit, okay?"

"If it hurts too much for me to handle, I'll sit out of the rest of the show." She stroked his face with her fingertips. "And I'll come home right after the show and put ice or something on it."

He took her fingertips and pressed them to his lips, kissing them. "All right, I guess I'll have to accept that. Doesn't this place have a jacuzzi around here or something. That would feel good, sweetheart."

Savannah smiled as he kissed her fingers. "No... well they might in the pool area? Heat and warmth from massage jets would probably feel good."

"I did forget --" he heated his hands and his body and leaned closer to her, holding her. "-- I do have a certain, special skill."

Savannah relaxed completely against him. "Promise to do that after the show?"

"I promise, baby," he whispered and leaned down, kissing her softly but not long. They were at a cheerleading show and he didn't want to get said something to for taking up too much of her time.

Savannah smiled and kissed him back. "I'll see you after the show, love." She kissed him once more before doing a series of cartwheels to where Chad was standing (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/1201132.html?thread=100205804#t100205804).
