Cheer camp! SHOW, gym, 14:00, Sunday

The gym was set up with left over cookies, drinks and much space for the audience to watch the cheerleaders perform. Buffy would probably go out and bodily drag audience in if necessary, but she hoped the combination of cookies and short skirts would do her job for her.

"Yay Gremlins!" Savannah shouted as she flew into the air. She did the splits, touching her toes and then came back down.

Awww, Chad really liked the added shout as Savannah went up; it was cute. He held out his arms, glancing up to make sure it had been a straight shot and he didn't have to move to be able to catch her.

It had been a straight shot and Savannah came right down into his arms like she was supposed to.

Chad smiled a little as he caught Savannah easily in his big arms. "Another one?" he offered.

Well, since she said please...

Since he still had Savannah cradled in his arms, Chad would have to work a little harder to get the toss to work, but he didn't mind; it wasn't that difficult at all, but the next thing she would know was that she was being tossed up for a second time.

"Fandom Pride!" Savannah shouted as she went up. She did a backflip in the air and came right back down where she was supposed to.

"That was a great flip, Savannah," Chad complimented fondly as he caught her in his arms again.

Savannah grinned at him. "Thank you, Chad. Are you getting tired yet?"

Setting Savannah back to her feet lightly, Chad shook his head as he straightened. "Nope."

She bounced a little. "Feel like trying another one?"

"I have a feeling you do," Chad noted, amused. And already moving so that she could get up on his hands.

Savannah beamed at him. "Thank you, Chad."

She stepped up, putting a foot into his hands.

And up she went! Savannah was fun, and easy to toss. But that was sort of how it was with all the girls.

Savannah did another backflip through the air. She liked it when Chad tossed her because she liked flying. She also knew he would always catch her. She was smiling when she came back down.

"Dizzy yet?" Chad asked with a small grin, looking down at Savannah in his arms. He knew he should would have been, all those flips.

Savannah grinned. "I should stop, though, or Johnny is going to get even more worried about my shoulder."

There was a pause. "Your...shoulder?"

He didn't know anything about it, but if Savannah had an injured shoulder, and he was tossing her, and aggravating it...Oh, man. Chad already started to feel bad.

"Not you, too, Chad. I got thrown through a wall, but I'm fine. It doesn't even hurt." She gave him a stubborn look.

It was amazing, really, how Chad could maintain that almost constantly stoic expression on his face and yet a skeptical look still got through.

...and there was Johnny, suddenly standing off to the side, arms folded, watching.

Savannah sighed. "Chad, I promise I'm okay. Just Johnny is worried becuse he's protective. But I'm fine or I wouldn't be here!"

"One more for good measure?" Chad offered.

Chad gave a nod of confirmation, counted again to three, and tossed Savannah up in the air. He got prepared to catch her again, telling himself to be very careful of the shoulder.

...Even if he didn't know which shoulder it was.
