The stables: Late Tuesday afternoon

Karal arrived at the stables, cheerful because Altra was back, even if he'd woken only long enough to eat several tins of salmon and was now snoring on his bed again.

It only took him a moment to notice something was missing.

"Where is my horse?"

[ooc: it is open, though first for the missing horse aka myself]

Gavin found himself down by the stables for whatever reason and hesitated when he saw Karal-or was it?-was down there.

He stopped for a moment, unsure how to just ask if Karal was Karal.

"So, you're back?" Gavin asked. "You're you?"

"Aw, not even a little bit?" Gavin asked, teasing.

He laughed and said, "Well, the cute thing. And he wanted me to take off my shirt. And was asking about you."

River had been for a long walk all morning and stopped by at lunchtime in town. A little tired, she headed back to the dorms, but noticed Trenor and Karal on the front lawn. Giving Karal a quick smile, she walked up to Trenor. "I'm afraid I've run out of apples."

"I smell of apples," River replied with a laugh, patting the horse. "Good to be yourself again?"

River gave him a sympathetic look. "With me? No. And I can tell who's who." She smiled a little, running her fingers through Trenor's mane, her fingers instictively turning to braiding.

Laughing, River nodded. "I did. You weren't here. Trenor did not object." She continued the braiding, but without ribbons this time.
