Andrew had a craving for funnel cake so he decided to make some. There was a pot of hot oil on the stove, a bowl of batter, powdered sugar, chocolate syrup, and a can of cherry pie filling all laid out.

Two extra-crispy clumps and a burnt thumb later, he finally managed to produce something that actually resembled the tasty treat he desired.

"It's not to late, no," Isabel said, still frowning. "It's just, we have a tradition of a welcome back to school party on the roof. There'll be dancing. And you have to be shirtless. I can't believe I didn't tell you about this before."

Andrew was slightly mortified. "Does everyone get shirtless? Will I have to be shirtless? I'm, um, I'm pretty tight with the modesty, Isabel. I don't know if I can do the shirtless."

"Not everyone," she said. "And no one will force you if you don't want to. But you should still be there for the dancing."

"Good," Isabel smiled. "It'll be fun. I'll let you know when we get a date set."
