Fifth Floor Common Room, Tuesday Afternoon

John was a failure of a big brother for never sharing the wonders of chocolate with his sibling.  He decided to make it up to his little sister by gathering every sort of chocolate he could get his hands on for a tasting in the common room. 

Which meant there was chocolate cake, chocolate pie, and chocolate pudding, in addition to a wide variety of chocolate candy, spread all over the common room.  Far too much chocolate for two people.

"Okay, so, I think you should try the plain chocolate candy bar first.  It's both classic and pure," he recommended to Faile.

"It's probably a good line to draw," Luke agreed, grabbing something at random and unwrapping it. "Planning on bring Jaina chocolate?" he asked.

Luke thought he was Extremely Cunning.

"That depends, does Jaina like chocolate?" John replied, trying not to appear taken aback by the question.

"Are you trying to get on her good side?" Luke countered.

"Um, you could say that, yes." John really hoped that he was already on Jaina's good side, but if Luke had extra insight, he'd take it.

"Bring chocolate," Luke said, nodding. "Don't make her unhappy. She'll take you out, then my father and I'll get the rest of you."

He gave John a bright smile. "So. Have you had any classes yet?"

John kinda stared at Luke for a second before responding. "Uh, yeah. Art class, yesterday. How 'bout yourself?"

"One on religion yesterday and shop today," Luke said. "I can learn about smiting and taking things apart!"

He was a little gleeful.

"Just remember not to get those two skills confused with each other," John said. Right, that made sense.

"Maybe I can fix things after they've been smoted?"

"Only if you get to use power tools."

"If I don't get to use the power tools, what's the point?" Luke asked, grinning.

"It's like trying to drink coffee without sugar," John said.

"Don't tell anyone," Luke said, lowering his voice, "but I don't really like coffee."
