Third Floor Common Room - Thursday Evening

Anyone coming into the third floor common room would very probably find themselves being pounced on by a blue kitten trying to scare them. Unfortunately, even in this form, Sulley's roar needed some work.

The TV was on for those students who weren't animals.

Z bounced into the common room to see what was on, and maybe if there were any other students around.

Sulley waited for the right moment, then tried to pounce on Z's ankle.

Z's ankle, however, was protected by SPD-issue boot leather. "Aww, kitty!" Z crouched down to examine the kitty. "Is you a vicious little kitty? Yes you is yes you is!"

Sulley growled in a 'awww yes I am, don't mock me' kind of way and swatted at her. Then came the roar. Roar meaning an emphatic, squeaky 'rowr-mrowr!'.

"Yes you are you're just the most viciousest thing ever," Z cooed, dangling her fingers for the kitty. In the same cooing tone of voice she continued, "And you're probably a student, too, aren't you?"

Jack wandered up a floor, to see what he could see.

Sulley pounced with a wee kitty meow-roar.

"AAah!" Jack sceamed manfully, as he jumped ten feet in the air.

And then kinda flew around for a bit, looking as nonchalant as a hawk attacked by a kitty could be as he perched on a tall thing, glaring at the big mean kittywitty.

Sulley stopped and looked up at the bird. He gave it a 'look' as if to say 'what the hell?'

Jack kept looking around the room. Where was that scary thing? It wasn't that blue kitty thing, right?


....Right?

Rikku popped her head in. "Whoa. Hey, kitty!"

Curses! He failed at sneakiness. Oh well. Sulley pounced at Rikku's ankles anyway with a glorious kitty war cry.

Rikku giggled madly. "Are you gonna get it? Who's gonna get it? Get it!" And started playing keep-away with her toes.

Sulley bounced off after her toes, swatting at them and then tumbling head first when he lost his balance. He then jumped after the toes again. "Mrowr!"

"So, are blue cats par for th'course round here, or just another example of random Fandom weirdness?" Johnny asked the energetic blonde girl. " 'Cause 'm still trying t'figure out the difference between th'two."

Rikku giggled. "Hiya! Uh. Cats, very much so. Students turning into cats, happens way more often than should be allowed, really. Blue cats?" She looked at the kitty again. "This is a first for me."

Johnny could get that a cat could be blue. Hey, it was a natural color, and wasn't there a kind of cat called a Russian Blue or something. But the other statement left him staring blankly.

"People turn into cats around here?" An' it's a really regular thing?"

A rather large puppy scampered into the room, its owner nowhere in sight.

Sulley turned, eyes wide at the puppy, and reared up on his back legs. He got his claws out and mrowr-rowred at the puppy.

Ata paused, considering the little fluffy mrowring thing, and barked back.

Sulley scooted back and fell backwards. He scrambled to his feet and edged forward. "Mrowr!" he meowed louder.

Johnny was finally starting to get used to Fandom, so a bright blue cat didn't surprise him as much as it might have a month ago. He reached his hand out to try and pet it.

"Hey there, little guy," he said.

Kitten instincts overtook monster thinking and he headbutted Johnny's hand. "Mrrrrowr," he greeted.

Well, if this wasn't the cutest thing Johnny had seen all week. He let the kitten headbut his hand before turning it over and trying to skritch under its chin.

"Don' know if I got much for ya, but let's see if I got any string or somethin' in my pockets." He started rummaging through his jacket, trying to find something to give the blue kitty.

Sulley was happy to be entertained by Johnny's hand for the moment. He started gnawing on one of his fingers.
