Second Floor Common Room [late evening]
After hearing about Jim and his very exciting Homecoming date -- which she was totally okay with, really -- Pam didn't feel like doing much of anything.
Which was why late Thursday night found her camped out in front of the television, focusing on absolutely nothing on the screen. But she was totally okay with Jim going out with some random girl. Really. Toooootally fine.
[Pam's here to run into someone in particular, but open to other night owls.]

It occurred to him that the antics of the weekend had left him behind on his homework for Pop Culture. The homework being, of course, to watch television.
No better time than the dead of night to do that.
"Anything good on?"

He meant it.
"Any particular reason you can't?"

Not that he had been looking, per se. But company wasn't always so bad. Generally.

She kind of thought it was that bad, yes.

He kind of liked that.
"You don't have a date, then? For Homecoming? Were you looking for one?"

"I'll see you tomorrow evening, then. Where should I meet you?"
This was bound to be interesting.

He was actually almost looking forward to this a little. Somewhat.

He probably owned some green, somewhere...
"Good night." He grinned, nodded his head a little, and then turned to leave the common room.
There wasn't anything good on TV right now anyhow.

Jim was going to be sooooo sorry he had asked Random McWhoreygirl rather than her.
She didn't actually know Faile. It didn't really matter to her.

There was something weird saying 'date', in her time there was no dating just: 'Meet so-and-so and by the way, he's your future husband' sort of thing.

She offered Pam the
handwavycoffee she was making. "Here, it is not too sweet but I think it will help us."
