Third Floor Common Room - Tuesday Evening

Class had been interesting, as Neil had never really thought about a food stuff as being able to predict the future but then, really what made a crystal ball so special?

Speaking of food stuffs, despite the heat outside that still tried to claim the day as summer, Neil's instincts told him it was October and thus time for comfort foods. This translated into the tried and true staple, grilled cheese and soup.

Only Neil liked to add bacon and tomato to his grilled cheese. So he was out in the common room, frying bacon and setting out the necessary ingredients for the sandwich protion of the meal.

[ooc: Common room = open, like OOC = no end of the world.]

Andrew went in search of Neil and finally found him in the common room. He didn't say anything but just moved to wrap his arms around the other boy from behind.

Andrew tightened his hold and brought his chin up to rest of Neil's shoulder. "I'm good," he said softly in the other boy's ear. "I think all that tea today is upsetting my stomach."

Andrew moved to kiss Neil gently on the neck. "Don't worry about me. I'm of the mindset that if I ignore it, it will go away. If I'm eating, all I'll do is think about it."

He didn't pull back though, not thinking that his current proximity could hinder the cooking process.

Andrew was quiet for a moment, enjoying the way his jaw tingled where Neil had kissed him and how good it felt being this close to the boy in general.

The, offhandedly, he remarked, "You know, this would be a very bad position for you to be in if I was a vampire. You know, without a soul and all."

Andrew grinned and nipped back. "Oh, I would totally turn you. That way we could be creatures of the night together forever."

He sighed contentedly, and gently kissed Neil behind the ear. "Would you be my dark paramour, Mr. Perry?" he asked at a whisper.

"Yeah, but do you want it to be typical? I mean, there is something to be said about the classic good versus evil going wonky with love bit, but sometimes it's better when things don't go as planned, you know?"

At this point, Andrew became totally lost in his own thoughts.

Reluctantly, Andrew backed away so the other boy could eat his food. "Things are okay. Hey, he did you know that there are only two types of poisonous snakes in this part of Virginia? The Northern Copperhead and the Timber Rattler."

Andrew smiled and added, "I've been doing research for our camping trip."

Andrew nodded. "That should work. It'll give me something to look forward to, to, you know, make it through Parents Weekend and all."

Parents Weekend was something Andrew could definitely live without.
