Rikku bounced into the gym and started setting up. She waited until it seemed like everyone had filed in, and then cleared her throat. "Uh, hey guys? Molly and I kinda have an announcement-thing." She nodded to the other girl.

Molly joined Rikku and smiled at the squad. "As most of you know by now, Buffy had to handwavey leave this weekend and won't be back until the end of the semester probably. Until then, she's left Rikku and me in charge of practices and stuff." She looked back at Rikku to see if she had anything to add.

Rikku bounced on her toes. "Uh. I think Molly's probably more in charge than me, 'cause I'm way newer? And Buffy totally gets to run stuff again when she's back. And ... uh ... I think that's it?"

Molly giggled at Rikku and nodded. "Buffy will be back in charge when she gets back, yeah. And that is basically it, I guess. Do you guys have any questions?"

Aly was there, of course, still hyped up on sugar and caffeine from Study Hall. "Hey guys, I was thinking - you all have been looking really, really good recently, and since you don't have a competition coming up at all, perhaps you'd like to show off your stuff for Parents' Weekend next week. It would be neat to be able to show the awesomeness everyone here's been putting together."

"That's a great idea," said Molly who hadn't thought about who might be coming for Parents' Weekend this year. "I'm on Student Council and I'll see what is planned already and ask if we can add it in."
