Gym: Flag Football Practice, Sunday Noon

At noon, John went down to the gym to set up flags, footballs, and cones for practice. He figured the students who didn't have family in town would be there and those who did have family would welcome the distraction.

Since last week Willow focused on touchdown dances, John decided this week they'd practice some things to help them actually score touchdowns. Meaning they'd run plays.

"Brilliant," Jonathan said, and just for that second he entirely meant it, and it might have showed. No one messed with his baby sister. He'd find a way to sell them to camel drivers if they did. Then he broke into a wide smile. "And yes, entirely too early. So where are you from, Sokka of the Water Tribe? Is there a Whiskey Tribe? I'd like to join that."

"I'm from the South Pole," he answered. "Not yours, a different one."

And he grinned at Jonathan. ...with Jonathan? at Jonathan? "If there were a Whiskey Tribe, I'm sure they'd be proud to have you as a member, sir."

Evie took a breath of relief, giving Sokka wide smile of gratitude, and Jonathan a more indulgent one. "Right. Yes, Jonathan's already passed any initiations they might set him, I think."

"Excellent point!" Jonathan clapped his hands, and grinned at both of them. Not a bad chap, this Sokka. Much better than some berks Evie could have taken on. "I heard there's a pastry shop here, somewhere? Jeff, God of Biscuits? I don't get much of the sort in Jerusalem, would you two care to show me to the sugar?"
