2nd floor common room, Thursday evening

Johnny was cooking. I know, so help him right? Seriously though he was doing a pretty good job with the taco making. Hardest thing was getting the meat seasoned just right and he thought he had that down. Nothing really left to do but put it all together and chow down.  It wasn't his fault he kept setting kitchen towels on fire and had to quickly put them out. Making tacos was serious business.

Seriously.

He's only ruined four towelss anyway. Not like anyone would notice, and he would totally replace them.

"I love to cook," said Hoshi. "You should come up to the fourth floor sometime for my beef teriyaki. I can make really good enchiladas, too, but everyone's always asking me for Japanese food."

"Not bad. Nothing's attacked me yet this week. I just have to make it through Professor Stinson's class tomorrow and I can go back to hiding in my room," said Hoshi. She was completely serious.

"I wouldn't say that he's awesome, but he's okay. I hated the class at first, but it's gotten better since he made me his TA," said Hoshi. "And I wouldn't be hiding from him. I would be hiding from vampires, monkeys, weirdos in canoes and that guy who keeps asking me out."

"Yeah, I saw those guys in canoes. Weird. Vampires? Yeah, was totally attacked by one. Monkey? Haven't seen one in quite awhile. You need a taser or something, Hoshi. You got any fighting skills? And you totally shouldn't be out at night by yourself."

"I know some basic aikido, but I'm a little rusty at fighting. I can barely even defend myself. Might have to look into getting a taser," said Hoshi.
