2nd floor common room, Thursday evening

Johnny was cooking. I know, so help him right? Seriously though he was doing a pretty good job with the taco making. Hardest thing was getting the meat seasoned just right and he thought he had that down. Nothing really left to do but put it all together and chow down.  It wasn't his fault he kept setting kitchen towels on fire and had to quickly put them out. Making tacos was serious business.

Seriously.

He's only ruined four towelss anyway. Not like anyone would notice, and he would totally replace them.

[common room is open.]

Hoshi appreciated that he stayed out of her Personal Bubble. "It's been pretty quiet so far, but I enjoy quiet."

"You don't get lonely when it's quiet? You seem to stand back a bit." Not that he didn't do the same...

"No, I'm used to quiet," said Hoshi. She was also used to loneliness as well and that did bother her occasionally, but she didn't mention it.

"Me too. Practice for being on the road."
He was not thinking of this week's COmmunications class and blushing.

There was no blushing on Hoshi's part. The flirting was just a purely academic thing for a grade and the grade was more important to her than anything else.

"I'm so glad break's over. I really enjoyed getting back to classes this week," said Hoshi.

"Classes are nice. I didn't have any fun this weekend, though." Fun being defined differently by different people. "Wish I didn't miss out, but my Dad's on the road, so... you learn to live with it. Um. How are your classes so far this week?" He's not blushing. He didn't end the sentence with a squeak.
