Fourth Floor Common Room, morning

Isabel always thought better when she cooked. That was why Friday morning she could be found in the common room making muffins. Lots of them.

Hopefully the smell would draw people in to eat them.

Adam had gotten up early for a handwaved early workout and was lured to the common room.

"Something smells delicious," he smiled, catching sight of Isabel. "Morning."

"There's muffins," Isabel smiled, pushing the platter towards him. "Help yourself."

"Thanks," Adam smiled, taking a muffin. "How's it going?"

"Ooh. Muffins."

Yeah. Probably not going to have any problem getting at least a few of those muffins cleared out. A.J. was, after all, working on that whole starving artist vibe. Except that he was definitely not starving. It was pretty much impossible to starve around here.

"Yup. Want some?" she asked. "There's plenty."

"I see that," A.J. chuckled. "And, yes, thanks." He took a moment surveying them before picking out one he thought looked particularly good. "I'm so glad there are people who can do this whole baking thing here, man..."

"No starving?" River mockingly shook her head. "Where will your painting end up without starvation?" She laughed warmly. "Good morning."

"No starving!" A.J. laughed triumphantly as more delicious muffin went into his mouth. "I got enough going on right now to torment my art, so a little muffin won't hurt much. Can't be so weak that you can't even pick up a brush, right? And, good morning to you too. How've you been, River?"

"Hi, A.J.," Annette smiled with a little wave in his direction.

A.J. waved back, smiling. "Hey, stranger," he greeted Annette. "Where've you been hiding?"

Annette wandered down a floor because she couldn't find any hot cocoa in her own common room. Imagine that. Anyhow... "Oooh, smells good in here."

"I've been busy," Isabel smiled. "Want a muffin?"

"You have," she smiled and wandered over. "I would love one, thank you. And were you up awfully early?"

"Hey Annette," Adam smiled, greeting her with a small wave.

"Adam!" She said with a bright smile. "Hi, how have you been?"

River was on her way to work when the smell of freshly baked muffins drew her attention. She stuck her head into the fourth floor common room.

"Spicy?" she asked Isabel.

"I've got Tabasco sauce?" Isabel offered.

"If you recommend it," River replied, approaching Isabel, or rather the muffins.

Hoshi was drawn to the common room by the scent of baked goods. "Ooh, muffins!"

"Help yourself," Isabel smiled. "Hi Hoshi!"

"That's what I said," A.J. grinned as he lifted a hand in a wave to Hoshi.

After talking to his brother the floor below, Wyatt headed up to the fourth floor, seeking out a hot alien chick. He was pleased to find her in the common room. Even more pleased that she was baking. "Hey, beautiful," he said.

Meg was in a fantastic mood this morning and finding out someone was making muffins made it all the better.

"Hey!" she said when she came in. "Please say these are shareable."
