Gym, Flag Football Practice: Sunday Noon

John was in a great mood when people started arriving for practice. "Okay guys, good news for you. Next week we're having a game! Gold Team versus Blue Team. No holds barred, just keep in mind this is flag football not tackle football," his gaze may have drifted to Willow when he said that. "So, let's make this practice really worth it and get some serious work done!"

He'd set up all the equipment necessary for very thorough skills drills in his excitement for the upcoming game.

It may have helped that he'd gotten a full eight hours of sleep the night before without infant droids to care for.

[Yes! Game next Sunday!]

"Does that work?" Willow asked. "I've never tried it in a formerly ginger ale encouraged situation. Then again I could have fallen victim to the vast ginger ale lobbying conspiracy and never known it."

"Or attractive," Willow pointed out. "It could imply evil lurking amongst the carbonation."

"What if you needed to dissolve metal?" Willow asked. "Because if there was a need to do that to save the world, cola would come in handy. Plus be refreshing after."

"If you needed to threaten it to make it talk, for instance," Willow agreed.

"Excellent point," Willow said. "Ooh! You could make it flip by dripping soda onto it drop by drop."
