Gym, Flag Football Practice: Sunday Noon

John was in a great mood when people started arriving for practice. "Okay guys, good news for you. Next week we're having a game! Gold Team versus Blue Team. No holds barred, just keep in mind this is flag football not tackle football," his gaze may have drifted to Willow when he said that. "So, let's make this practice really worth it and get some serious work done!"

He'd set up all the equipment necessary for very thorough skills drills in his excitement for the upcoming game.

It may have helped that he'd gotten a full eight hours of sleep the night before without infant droids to care for.

[Yes! Game next Sunday!]

Rodney picked up Bob and he started to quiet down a little bit. "Well, um," he'd been hoping to hand them back to John tonight, but John seemed so distressed. "Look, I think I know how I can set up my laptop to interface with them and access their programming. I'm sure I can fix whatever Skywalker did to make them hate you." Not that Rodney had any experience with technology from the Jedi's universe or anything.

"Well, I mean, I haven't tried anything yet since you said it would probably effect our grade," this was said almost as an accusation. "But it shouldn't be too hard to rewrite a few lines in their base code once I find the right commands that need to be changed. I'll probably need a while to study it though," he cautioned.

"True," Rodney acknowledged. "I certainly don't want to get on his bad side. Or at least I don't want to get any farther on his bad side than I apparently already am just by associating with you," he amended. "How about this: I'll keep them tonight and see if I can access their program without leaving any trace of interference? If it works, you can have them tomorrow."

"Hmph," Rodney huffed. He placed Bob in the carrier and then gathered up Steve and his computer. "I'll let you know how it goes."
