Second floor common room, Wednesday evening
After hearing the news about Chuck Norris congratulating Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow by not faxing a letter, but by staring at the letter until it faxed itself.
Clearly, he needed to have a Runner, Texas Ranger marathon in the common room. The first episode up was the one where Runner played Russian Roulette with a loaded gun... and won.
[OOC: Seriously, ESPN went nuts with Chuck Norris Facts today. It was entertaining.]

She bounded into the common room and hopped up onto the couch with Jim, looking at him expectantly, as though he should know the random dog was his girlfriend.
Pam had somewhat unreasonable expectations.

It was the best she could do, as puppies can't answer either/or questions.

Oooh, hey, TV.

No one else, puppy or not, should be doing that. Maybe it would be a good hint!

He decided to give Pam a call, just in case. "Hey, Pam, it's Jim. There's a puppy in the common room and I was just thinking of you. Give me a call if your still have hands."

She pawed at her ear, just for emphasis.

And licked his chin.
Puppy kisses! Adorable, right? And probably very girlfriend-y, so he would get it.
Also he smelled interesting. Everything did but especially people.

Until she got distracted by something moving! Right in her sight line! So she jerked towards it, but it was gone!
She kept chasing it, totally confused by the weird moving brown thing.
About fifteen seconds in, she realized it was her tail and stopped.

He still didn't know whether or not this was Pam. He figured the puppy might follow him to his room later on if it wanted, then radio would tell him.
Because, you know, this was a dog. He didn't even know gender. He wasn't looking, just in case it was a student. That would be weird.
