4th floor Common Room, Wed evening

Wednesday night was Project Runway night. Peter wouldn't miss it for the world.

Currently there was a mini-marathon of previous episodes. Since Peter had seen them already, he kept himself occupied making notes in the journal Sam had gotten for him.

Well, that was the idea. Occasionally his writing would turn into random doodles without Peter noticing it.

"Methadone for the writer's strike," Peter said. "Known as a mini-marathon of Project Runway. Which is pretty good. They'll have a new episode on soon."

Dean continued to watch the tv with a dubious expression and his head tilted. "I think this might be giving flashbacks to Ares' class."

"Little bit," Peter admitted. "Though there's no Tootie, so already we are way ahead of the game. Plus there's Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum. 'nuff said."

"As long as there's no one making me dress up in tights," Dean said, settling back against the cushions.

"Not on my watch," Peter said. "Though you may get to see people try to make clothes out of candy. That was last week, though they'll rerun that episode before the new one."

Peter's hand kept moving absently as he talked to Dean, his pen continuing to make marks on the page.

"Okay, that could be an interesting outfit. You could snack on it if you're ever trapped in a cave or something."

"Made of Twizzlers," Peter said. He frowned at the stick figures on his page, then turned to a blank one so he could try to sketch the swirls of the outfit from the previous week's challenge. "Shirt skirt, kind of a corset top. Looked... way better than my non-existant art skills are making it out to be."

"I doubt I could do much better," Dean said. "What were you drawing before?"

"Huh?" Peter flipped back to look. "Uh, nothing. Just doodles. Guess my mind keeps wandering."

Dean chuckled. "Sammy does that too. Must be a geek thing," he teased.

Peter looked horrified. "Oh god. I'm becoming a geek??"

Dean coughed. "Hate to break it to you, Peter, but there's no 'becoming' about it."

"Damn it." Peter pretended to mope. "This is all Sam's fault. Clearly I picked it up from him."

"Uh huh. Sure, dude."

"Hey, just ask Nathan," Peter said. "He wishes I was a nerd."

"Considering what happened the last time Nathan and I talked about you and Sammy, might be better if I just take your word for it," Dean said wryly.

"How'd class go anyway?" Peter asked after smacking comment notification

"Better than I thought it would," Dean admitted.

"I don't have to heal another black eye?" Peter asked, only semi-serious.

"Nah. Besides, I think next time I'd go for his nose."

Peter facepalmed.

"Relax," Dean told him. "I'm just joking." Well, mostly. "Unless he threatens Sammy's life again, I'll keep my hands to myself."

"He's not gonna threaten Sam again," Peter said. "He knows better."

"Hope so," Dean said. "The class was actually kinda interesting. And useful."
