4th floor Common Room, Wed evening

Wednesday night was Project Runway night. Peter wouldn't miss it for the world.

Currently there was a mini-marathon of previous episodes. Since Peter had seen them already, he kept himself occupied making notes in the journal Sam had gotten for him.

Well, that was the idea. Occasionally his writing would turn into random doodles without Peter noticing it.

"Wednesday's just aren't the same without Tyra," Isabel said as she took a seat on the couch.

"No kidding," Peter said. "Though I'm still recovering from who won last time. It's just wrong."

Peter blinked when he looked back at his notes. He didn't remember drawing stick figures.

If Isabel had been one of the gypsies that left Peter on the Petrelli doorstep she probably would have made some sign against the evil and spit. As it was, she rolled her eyes and sighed. "Freaking Tootie..."

"What are you working on? Homework already?"

Peter laughed. "Yeah, do I look like Nathan? Nah. I'm just jotting some notes down about my powers. Sam had the idea that if I did that maybe I could start figuring them out more."

"It's a good idea. Although given the number of people with powers around here?" she said thoughtfully, "You might be better off with a spreadsheet. Maybe you could categorize them by element."

"Element like how?" Peter asked. He turned to a new page and started to draw out a grid to at least draft a spreadsheet, even if it was an old-fashioned one.

Somewhere out there Willow was twitching about spreadsheets being done incorrectly, and she did not know why.

Dean wandered out to the common room. "So what's this?" he asked, settling on the couch and looking at the tv.

"Methadone for the writer's strike," Peter said. "Known as a mini-marathon of Project Runway. Which is pretty good. They'll have a new episode on soon."

Dean continued to watch the tv with a dubious expression and his head tilted. "I think this might be giving flashbacks to Ares' class."

"Little bit," Peter admitted. "Though there's no Tootie, so already we are way ahead of the game. Plus there's Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum. 'nuff said."

"As long as there's no one making me dress up in tights," Dean said, settling back against the cushions.

"Hey!" Isabel smiled. "What's up? Come to join us in our Top Model withdrawals?"

"You're not going to get me to admit to Top Model withdrawal," Dean said with a grin.

"Of course not. You probably watch some manly show like MythBusters or something," she laughed. "Or Dirty Jobs."

"Damn right," Dean said, then grinned. "So Michael made me breakfast this morning."

"I miss Top Model," Meg said when she saw what was on the TV. "But this'll do. Hey, Peter."

Peter smiled. "Hey Meg. We can ease the pain by critiquing the models' signature walks when they do the runway show."

"That does help the void that Miss. J has left in my heart," she said.

"Plus Tim Gunn," Peter said. "Accept no substitutes."

"You can't forget about Tim Gunn," she said. "He makes the show. How else would the contestants know to make it work unless he tells them to in the first place?"

"Hey gorgeous," Dean greeted her.

"Hey handsome," she replied. "You enjoying Project Runway?"

"I admit to nothing," he said with a grin. "But the company's definitely enjoyable. Especially now."

Meg smiled. "But this show teaches you how to make it work!"

"They should do something like this for superheroes." Billy observed when he saw what was on.
