4th floor Common Room, Wed evening

Wednesday night was Project Runway night. Peter wouldn't miss it for the world.

Currently there was a mini-marathon of previous episodes. Since Peter had seen them already, he kept himself occupied making notes in the journal Sam had gotten for him.

Well, that was the idea. Occasionally his writing would turn into random doodles without Peter noticing it.

Peter wrote all that down. "I've done water stuff before. Picked that up from a few people. How would we classify healing?"

"I honestly have no clue," she admitted. "I mean maybe earth? After all there's the whole dust to dust thing. And you're fixing that?"

"I guess I could make another column for unknown," Peter said, going to do just that. "We could figure it out later."

"I think that'll be the column with the most information in it," Isabel pointed out. "Which is not such a bad thing. It just means the next time there's dinosaurs, you're not going to end up as a soccer ball."

"That would be nice," Peter agreed. "Huh. Maybe a section for body-specific things? That would cover self-healing as well as the invisibility."

"Yeah, those clinic chairs are a bitch on your back." She nodded, thinking of other possible categories. "How about mental stuff? You've never tried dreamwalking have you? But if you got TK from me, I'd assume you got that as well."

"Never tried it," Peter said. "Though that's a good idea. There's mind-reading too."

"Just be careful who's head you wind up popping into," Isabel warned. "You could wind up seeing things you don't want to."

"Mind reading without wanting to is kind of scary too," Peter said, by way of agreement.

"Given stuff we've had to do with it would have been useful." Knowing what the sheriff was thinking back when Liz was first shot for one. "But I understand what you mean. My head's a busy enough place. I don't need to hear anyone else in there."

"Plus it can throw you off your game if you were trying to do something else at the time."

Isabel nodded. "Definitely a possibility. Does it happen a lot?"

"Fortunately no," Peter said. "If it did I'd be more worried."

"Good," she replied, relieved on Peter's behalf. "Otherwise I'd say talk to Luke. Or maybe Anakin. They'd probably be able to help you."

"Sam said he'd help me with magic," Peter said, looking pleased about that.

"He seems like he has a good basis in it," Isabel agreed. "What with the family business."

"Whatever helps me learn more and have better control is a good thing as far as I'm concerned," Peter said. He glanced down at his book. Huh. One stick figure bringing another one a cup of coffee. Go fig.

"Absolutely. Which reminds me, I should tell Michael I'll help him with his powers." She grinned, "You're not the only one with a brother in Fandom."

"Hey, speaking of how'd he treat you today?" Peter said. "Do I need to puppy eye at him so he goes easy on you?"

"Class was fun and pretty interesting," Isabel promised. "No puppy eyes needed. ~~I was just lame~~."

"Told you he'd be awesome," Peter said. He couldn't remember if he'd mentioned that specifically to Isabel or not, but he'd been saying it to everyone who would sit still long enough to listen, so the odds were pretty good.
