5th floor common room, Friday Night

Romeo Montague had had a strange day in a strange week of what had been a pretty strange year.
Inspired by an episode of Vanessa Saturn, he decided a drinking game was in order. Specifically "I Never." And so invitations, written in a slightly florid hand, were slipped under dorm room doors -- some of new friends, some belonging to complete strangers.

There was a stash of booze set up under the coffee table, and Romeo sipped a rum-and-cider as he waited to see if anyone would actually show up.

[OOC: Fair warning per the admins -- this is a high school. You get punk in drublic, or the converse, you might get punished. So ... don't get caught?]

It was *his* party, so, he supposed, Romeo had to begin. He chose something easy.

"I have never left this planet."

Ronan came down to the common room, actually having been planning to cook -- but this looked like much more fun. "Well, hello," he said. "What's going on here?"

Inara was there, delighted to be invited. She'd brought several cushions upon wish to recline. "Good evening, Romeo."

Jenny hadn't received an invitation, but she was here anyway. "Wait. Is something going on?" she asked warily from the doorway.

Romeo was pleased to have the company. "A little weekend celebration," he answered, gesturing, not-terribly-subtly, at the half-concealed drinks. "Come and have a drink!"

"Inara!" Romeo bowed. "So you have come to play with us?"

"Why, don't mind if I do!" Ronan said, his grin widening. He glanced through the collection and was quite pleased to find a Guinness. "I don't believe we've met," he added. "I'm Ronan."

"Crimefighting partner!" Ronan said, grinning. "Come in, have a seat, find a refreshment."

"Nothing of much importance," Romeo answered loftily. "Merely a game to ease our transition into the weekend."

Luke had found an invitation and made his way up to the fifth floor. "Hi, all!"

Romeo waved. "I think we have not met, but I'm called Romeo. Come, have a drink."

What had started as a journey to see what Jeff might be up to resulted in a bit of a distraction when Turtle passed the common room and noticed people gathering in a slightly organized fashion. Naturally, this intrigued her, and she poked her head into the room.

"Is something fun going on?"

She didn't want to miss something fun.

"How could I refuse such a cordial and beautifully lettered invitation?" She bowed back in return. "Thank you for thinking of me."

Teyla was very impressed by the invitation, and happily went down to the common room. "What is all this about?"

Brooke wasn't exactly sorry to see a cute boy in the common room, so maybe she'd do more than just pass through. "What do we have going on here?"

Luke waved. "Inara!"

"I hope it will be so," Romeo answered. "We were going to play a game to ease us into the weekend. Drink?"

He'd found the invitation under his door when he'd returned from the Preserve, and so Karal was here, even if he was a bit confused as to what 'I Never' was.

He had greatly admired the handwriting, though. His, "Hello," was maybe a little shy.

Inara waved back. "Luke, it's been ages! How are you?"

"Thanks!" Luke said with a smile. "Do you have hot chocolate?"

Luke kind of missed the point.

"Romeo," Romeo answered. "Our names go well together, I think."

"Looks like this is the place to be," Lucas said, arriving in the common room.
