The Range - Girls With Guns [Thursday, 5pm]
Triela arrived at the range nearly an hour early to look things over and set up. She also needed the time to go over the four cases which held her own guns to make sure they were ready if anyone needed to borrow one.
She then posted a set of range rules which she had printed neatly using crayonshandwavily obtained from her roommate. Who knew that crayons were so useful?
1. Always treat the gun as loaded.
2. Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
3. Always keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
4. Always keep the gun unloaded until you are ready to use it.
5. Never point the gun at anything you don't intend to destroy.
6. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
7. Learn the mechanical and handling characteristics of the gun you are using.
8. Always use proper Ammunition.
9. Be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions before loading and shooting.
10. If your gun fails to fire when the trigger is pulled, hold your shooting position for several seconds; then with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction, carefully unload the gun.
11. Don't rely on the gun's safety to keep it from firing.
12. Be aware of your surroundings when handling guns so you don't trip or lose your balance and accidentally point and/or fire the gun at anyone or anything.
Then she sat back and waited for people to arrive.
[Up early because I'm feeling *gasp* productive today. OCDon the way has arrived. And I'm going to be out for a couple of hours, but will HAVE return! (wow this is getting long)]

"Hey, who's going to show me how to use this thing?" she asked, holding the case like it had cooties. "So I don't, you know, break it or something?"

But he was bored, and his choices for this evening seemed to be one thing he knew nothing about -- laundry -- or a club focused on two things he knew a lot about. He went with the familiar poison.
"Can people still join, even if they are handicapped by being male?"

So Reno? Totally showed up. Because, seriously, chicks. And firearms. How could he possibly go wrong?
Except for the fact that he, personally, didn't have a great amount of experience with a gun. He was more a 'beat on it until it stops moving' kind of guy. This was going to be fun.

Grab a gun and show off
Re: Grab a gun and show off
He was good -- not precise, but fast and more than accurate enough.
Re: Grab a gun and show off
Then he stopped, frowned, and looked around. "Hey, squirrels!" he called, even though he couldn't see any at the moment. "Pretend I didn't do that! And make sure you report how careful and responsible I'm being, so Deadpool and Cable can hear!"
And he was. He very carefully and responsibly finished off the clip. The problem was, being careful and responsible made his aim kinda suck -- he still hit the target, just... nowhere near the bullseye.
Re: Grab a gun and show off
Reno was taking her for a test drive.
Reno approved.
