He had a mid-term tomorrow. In cooking.

Thus, it made perfect sense to him, to wind up in the common room and attempting to cook.

Well.

Attempted to decide what he'd attempt to cook. Miss Lulu had said they couldn't use the recipes from class. This... would probably end badly.

Makoto knew what he meant. He was also dressed up as a girl and knew what that meant about how he had to react.

So, instead of facepalming like he wanted to--because however crude Sokka was it had been a fairly apt gesture--Makoto frowned a little. "You shouldn't refer to Miss Lulu like that. It's not very respectful. At all."

Sokka winced and tried to play it off. "Sorry! Sorry! Yeah, I, uh... I'm not usually a rude and crude kinda guy, heh heh. I mean, I don't SAY things like that, normally, I mean, you know..."

They really were hard not to notice. Makoto wasn't going to say that though.

"Good," he said severely, "because Miss Lulu is an excellent teacher and deserves all due respect. And if you were the kind of guy to be like that all the time I wouldn't want to share my food with you, so you'd better not be."

"Of course I'm not!" Sokka insisted. He really wasn't. Mostly. Plus, there was denial of food to consider.
