Finding that the weather was incompatible with ‘her’ reading plans, Makoto had somewhat sulkily—it had been so nice earlier!—made it as far as the fifth floor common room before dropping ‘her’ book, and thermos and blanket on one of the couches. What was ‘she’ supposed to do now?

Makoto eyed the kitchen. Well. That was always an option. Practice made perfect and all of that. But what to make?

Cookies it was! That’d be fairly simple, right?

[Open, yes of course!]

Ino was running slightly late for her regular trip to the Diner, and so her concentration was more on tying her hair up than paying attention to who else might, you know, be coming up the stairs. A quick turn 'round the corner, one last tug and her hair was neatly pulled back, elastic tight.

Still not with the whole paying attention thing though.

In which there is a collision. )

[Ino’s around for interaction, and preplayed with…uh, myself. Yes. Hush.]

The TV was hooked up to play only music videos and had a microphone set up with it, the pizza was fresh and tasty and there was plenty of soda for all.

A sign outside the common room read:

APRIL FOOLS PARTY!
Free food, drinks and karaoke. All welcome. Bring a friend!

Party sponsored by Ferris Bueller

[OOC: Going up a little early.]

As 'she'd' promised the little girl, Makoto was up on the roof the moment it got dark and spent a bit of time getting the blankets set up and making sure the hot chocolate was ready.

And, yes, Makoto had remembered the marshmallows.

Settling down on the blankets, 'she' waited to see who'd show up. There was plenty to go around.

[Open as a roof is!]

Lana had pulled out paper and crayons and markers and scissors and glue. She'd even found some stickers and glitter. Now she was busily coloring away at the coffee table. There were cartoons on the TV and she was humming happily, tongue sticking out as she concentrated on what she was doing.

Dick had insisted getting a piggyback ride instead of walking the ten feet it took to get to the common room. It was way too early for Meg to say no to people, especially kids.

"Go watch TV. Be good. Don't ask anybody that comes in to play doctor with you," Meg said. She had fallen for the doctor thing before when they were kids. Twice.

After making sure that Dick had found some cartoons to watch, Meg went into the kitchen and got out stuff to make pancakes.

[Totally open. Go ahead, traumatize her into not having kids for a long, long time. And, yes, when she figures out that this is an island-wide thing she'll be making a lot more pancakes to accommodate]

John was bored and had nothing to do. Okay, so bored was possibly not the right word after he'd listened to his voice mail.

He wasn't sure where the bubble wrap had come from, but it was kismet. Huge quantities of varying sizes of bubble wrap plus one bored teen equaled some really incredible ideas. He drug the bubble wrap up to the roof along with duct tape and a bag of whatever he could find.

Testing the strength of bubble wrap was fun!

[ooc: Plenty of bubble wrap for all!]

Savannah's letter from the past, and his conversation with her earlier today, had convinced Anders that there was something he had to do tonight that he hadn't done in a long, long time. And he was really past due for doing it.

So yes, that's right, he was in the common room with mixing bowls, baking tins, and a whole lot of boxes of cake batter, tubs of icing, and jars of sprinkles. The first batch was out of the oven, one trayful cooling down enough to be frosted and the other already set out for more impatient people (like himself) to enjoy.

Yup. It was cupcake time.

[OOC: You know how common rooms are open? That's what this is.]

He had a mid-term tomorrow. In cooking.

Thus, it made perfect sense to him, to wind up in the common room and attempting to cook.

Well.

Attempted to decide what he'd attempt to cook. Miss Lulu had said they couldn't use the recipes from class. This... would probably end badly.

Chad (and Prince Oscar Pedro, of course, faithful perched on his shoulder and purring happily) shuffled groggily into the kitchen. He'd just gotten up not too long ago, and was in need of coffee first, breakfast second.

Yes.

At about six o'clock in the evening.

Shut up. That's what weekends were for, right?

After spending most of the night in a Jedi healing trance, Luke didn't look like he'd had a wall dropped on him the night before.

But he was very, very tired of his room. And he was hungry.

So over Artoo's protests, he was in the common room attempting to make breakfast.

Since he wasn't making cereal, it wasn't going very well.

After waking up this morning, Hermoine went intop the common room. She didn't like anyone because of her rebellious nature, but they all seemed to love her so she thought she should give them what they wanted until she got bored. All the girls were jealous because they wanted to be here and all the guys wanted to be with her and no one could evar tame her.

She took a seat on the sofa that wasn't worthy to be sat on, but whatever, and started flipping through channels using magic. The remote stayed on the table. She had learned new magic that meant she didn't need a wand or anything,a nd she could just do stuff. Because even if books were stupid she was just street smart.

Hermoine stopped when she got to one of the MTV channels that played music. They were playing her FAVORITE MCR song.

[Hermione Sue is back! In a different, Bitchiwitch incarnation, but she- and the typos involved- should still turn my brain into liquid. Open!]

After working out, Lana went back to her room, soaked in a hot bath, then put on comfy clothes and went to hang out in the common room and watch the marathon about the crazy OCD detective. She threw together a couple of different batches of muffins and set them to bake while she curled up on the couch with a cup of tea.

[Open! Come have muffins!]

After labeling and putting away all of his groceries (not that he didn't trust Michaelangelo; it was the police cadet in him), Sky had decided to seat himself in the common area rather than shut himself up in his room. His only company at the moment was a bowl of freshly-popped popcorn, the precious Grape Judas Squishy he had purchased earlier from Turtle & Canary, and the Fandom High manual, which he was in the process of memorizing back-to-front. He thought about bringing out his CD player or turning the TV on, but decided he liked peace and quiet better.

And anyway, he had a feeling "peace and quiet" didn't last too long around Fandom.

[Open to all. Common room, isn't it? If you ask Sky nicely, he may even share his popcorn.]
