5th Floor CR, Saturday Night

The broom sweeping the floor around Romeo's feet wasn't so bad; it was silent, and no more distracting from his book than a maid at home would have been. (The fact it seemed to be powering itself was a bit distressing, but less so than talking shoes had been.)

But when a container of Lysol started hovering near his coffee-table-propped-feet, he really needed to jump up and protest. "They do not smell bad!" he informed the air, glaring.

It had been a very strange week.

"Doe eyes," Rikku snickered. "Big huge ones. You blink sadly and ask if they really want to be mean to you, and 9 out of 10 guys get all panicky and start trying to buy you crap."

"You have to know your target audience," Dōjima agreed. "Sometimes flirting works better, on the ones who are immune to the big Wibbly Eyes of Doom. Or blackmail. People will tell a cute girl anything, as long as she pretends to be interested."

Dōjima giggled evilly. "A girl after my own heart. Are the pictures any good? We could always take them down to that photo store in town, get it made into a poster for his friend. You know, for safe-keeping."
