The broom sweeping the floor around Romeo's feet wasn't so bad; it was silent, and no more distracting from his book than a maid at home would have been. (The fact it seemed to be powering itself was a bit distressing, but less so than talking shoes had been.)

But when a container of Lysol started hovering near his coffee-table-propped-feet, he really needed to jump up and protest. "They do not smell bad!" he informed the air, glaring.

It had been a very strange week.

"Maaaaaaaybe?" she drawled, tilting her head. "I think that's a yes, Sokka. Nice going, Mel seems pretty awesome."

"VERY awesome," Sokka corrected, jabbing a finger at her. "She's VERY awesome. And pretty."

"She's so awesome, she breaks the bounds of awesomeness?" Dōjima asked. "You're an island vetran, right? So, where can I have an awesome party that you can bring Mel to? Caritas? Should we just get a room at the Arms and all crash on the floor?"

"Yes," Sokka agreed solemnly. "Yes, she is."

He shrugged at the other question. "I dunno? We could just do it in someone's room? Or in the common room? My room's definitely out of the question."
