5th Floor Common Room, Friday Evening (Annette's Surprise B-Day Party)

Billy had never planned a surprise party before. That's okay because this one hadn't been exactly planned either. There was a posterboard sign saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNETTE on it on the wall, and another near a table that said PLACE PRESENTS HERE.

He set about putting out the food he'd gotten and drinks.

There was pizza, and chips, and other party appropriate and moddable foodstuffs. And lots of sodas from a Mainland Trader Joes.

Eve was there and had baby Petunia in one of those baby carriers that you wore on your back.

Boy, was Benicio going to have a WTF moment when he saw that charge on her credit card.

Turtle loved a party! And she guessed Annette was pretty much mostly a good friend, so she was there, enjoying it and totally scoping out whether or not Billy was using Westing Paper Products to serve everything.

Billy left a wrapped package (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/103-7667237-9143017?url=search-alias%3Dtoys-and-games&field-keywords=Spy&x=17&y=18) on the table, topped with a 30 dollar gift card. One of those that can be used almost everywhere.

I couldn't decide which of the things at the linked page to get her, so pick one or two.

A.J. had spent weeks thinking about something that would be a good present for Annette's birthday. Weeks. Lots and lots and lots of thinking, and he was still drawing a big, fat, hug, ginormous blank. It left him slightly panicky, because he wasn't sure if what he left on the present table would work, or if it would only annoy her.

What it was was a little sketchy, but pretty well rendered picture of her with a wrapped gift, with a big hug tag on it that was marked with a question mark. The picture had a caption: I.O.U. .....but I promise it will be good! --A.J.

Romeo had other plans for the night, but he liked Annette enough that he wanted to at least give her a gift. He stopped in just long enough to drop off a small box with a birthday card attached.

Around seven, Annette came wandering down the hall and into the common room. Her jaw dropped and her eyes widened and she sort of bounced and squeed. She totally wasn't expecting Billy to throw her a party.

I'm pinging my own ooc thread just to muse amusedly. This was my default icon when Billy first showed up. It's amazing how different he is now. The Billy of just last year would never have thrown anyone a party. Might not even have gone to one.
