Flight Shed [early afternoon]

After a few minutes of tinkering--fixing things took a little longer when you had a three-year-old helper--Anakin stepped back from the flight simulator with a small smile. Two identical podracer simulators were now set up.

"There," he said to the little girl. "Now you can podrace."

He'd left the door to the flight shed open. Last night's radio--and more than a few unfamiliar new Force signatures running around--let Anakin know there were more than a few little people on the island who might enjoy logging in some fake flying time.

"This one's better," she told him, pointing to the podracer she'd helped him with.

"GRANDPA! GRANDPA!" Amy crowed, racing towards him as fast as her legs could carry her.

Luke gave her a wave as he came in with another little girl. "Hi, sweetheart."

Jolee was dragging Luke into the shed by his hand. "Walk faster, Daddy."

Luke grinned. "I'm coming," he said. "The podracers will still be there. It's not going to kill you to wait a turn."

A small boy with serious blue eyes and dark hair stood in the doorway for a moment before squaring his little shoulders and walking up to Anakin. "There you are."

There was something familiar about this child.

"I don't see why I have to come," Maggie sulked from behind Dawn. "I totally coulda stayed in your room by myself. Or gone with Daddy."

"Because I promised to be here with Jolee," who she figured Maggie had heard all about yesterday afternoon, "and I'm as much her mom as I am yours, and you need to learn to share with people who aren't Winchesters."

There was a very excited little dark-haired boy tugging on his mother's hand. "Are we there yet?" Jaryd asked impatiently, trying to lead the little family excursion into the flight sim.

Juliet toddled over and shouted a gleeful little, "Hi!" at the newcomers. "I helped make the podracerses."

Billy was absolutely not smug at giving his daughter, who had so recently insisted she was too old to be carried, a piggy back ride.

"Piggy back rides don't count as carrying." she'd explained when she'd asked.

"What's in here?" she asked.

Jolee was practically vibrating with excitement as she sat in the podracer. "I'm gonna win!" she announced to the room at large.
