Fifth floor common room, Tuesday night

There had been an awful lot of Fandomonian craziness this weekend. And graduation was in a few days, and that probably meant loads MORE craziness. So, for tonight, people probably needed a break.

So Sokka had gotten pie. Lots of pie. And beverages of various descriptions.

Mel pulled back and gave Sokka a smile. "I had a good weekend. Did you?"

"I had a VERY good weekend," Sokka told her. "Except the parts involving Professor Stinson."

"Lay off that," Mel warned. "Or I'm going to start asking questions about this Toph person."

Sokka shrugged. "She's not the complete embarrassment to the human species that Stinson is. What would you like to know?"

"For one thing, why are you having sex with her?" Mel said looking a little on the mean side.

"I don't know!" Sokka replied. "Alternate-universe future me got hit in the head with a rock, maybe? Maybe there was liquor involved?"

"Well you better get your alternate selves in line," Mel warned him. "Because I'm not having any of that going on behind my back."

Mel is of course overlooking the whole thing with Barney. Shh.

"See, the thing about alternate universes," Sokka told her, "is that they're not THIS universe. And what does or doesn't go on there doesn't have anything to do with us." He shrugged. "Besides, I'm not suicidal."
