The Roof, Wednesday Late Morning

The emo garden needed tending, which seemed like an appropriate activity for Anders to shake off the lingering melancholy of missing his kids -- and he was whistling while he did it. Good sign, if a little weirdly ironic.

Bel had bequeathed the garden with its spiky plants to him a year ago, but he was going to have to find someone to take care of it for him, soon; he only had a few weeks left here, after all.

. . . wow. That was a sobering thought, but it made him grin a little bit, too -- not at the prospect of leaving, just at the thought that it had been three really damn good years, in the long run.

His horticultural efforts done with, Anders sat down on the edge of the roof, lit up a cigarette, and just enjoyed the view.

[OOC: Open as roofs are -- I'm home sick today, so I'm around but unexpected SP may ensue if I randomly fall asleep.]

"Yeah, going anywhere that isn't Fandom would seem so normal," Adam admitted, even if he did live in Angel Grove. Though it had it's strange occurrences, it was no Fandom. "You going to be okay?"

"Yeah I think so. I just have to get used to my cover story again."

"Yeah, I guess that'll take some time, huh?" Adam admitted, wondering if he could ever get used to something like that.

"Could be. I mean I did okay when I got here, so I'm sure I can get used to it again."

"Yeah, you'll be fine," Adam nodded, smiling. He was sure Billy would be okay. "And you know if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to contact me," he added, feeling the need to say it. He was sure Billy knew that all ready, but Adam felt better saying it, anyway.

"Thanks Adam." Billy smiled. "I appreciate that. You know that's something I got here that I never had before. Relatively normal friends my own age."

"Anytime Billy," Adam nodded, smiling. "Well, you've got them now and you won't lose them anytime soon," he promised.

"Good to know. Have you ever been to Florida?"

"No, actually, I haven't," Adam admitted. Though, he'd been meaning to visit Kim down there. Maybe this summer.
