2nd Floor Common Room - Tuesday Evening

Meg wanted to reward herself after working hard today. A cupcake sort of reward. So after showering (she had been playing in the dirt all day) she headed to the kitchen to see if there were any cupcakes in the fridge. But there wasn't any. Not even regular cake. So she decided to take matters into her own hands and make her own damn reward. Meg's cupcakes were better than store-bought ones anyhow.

"Turtle told you she poisoned all her roommates?" Meg asked.

"Not exactly," Ella admitted. "We were talking about how she needed a food taster, and somehow it turned into a conversation about what exactly happened to her other roommates. The poisoning thing was a joke."

She leaned in. "I think Nana scared them off, myself."

"Yeah, Nana is scary," Meg said. She was worried about that poisoning thing for a second. "Anyways, last Valentine's Day I played a little prank on Turtle and covered her room in pink glitter. It was hilarious."

Ella snickered. "I like Turtle, but I still would have loved to see her face when she found that."

"Yeah, she was not happy," Meg admitted. "Still refers to me as 'evil Meg' when she's doing radio."

"I still haven't listened to her," Ella confessed. "I'm not used to technology thingies. Still, was it worth it?"

"Oh, definitely," Meg said, grinning widely. "She's one of those people who is really fun to rile up."

"She does seem to take herself a bit seriously," Ella had to agree. "Do you have a roommate?"

"Yeah, I do. Her name is Cassandra," she said. "She's totally laid back. And a ninja. Sort of."

"She must be laid back, I can't even remember if I've met her," Ella reported.

"She's very quiet," Meg admitted. She paused. "I probably drive her crazy."

Ella frowned. "Why?"

"I talk a lot," Meg explained. And there was the whole cheerful thing. She understood that could be kind of annoying.
