Roof of Emo, Monday Afternoon/Evening

After class -- and boy was she relieved that Mr. Rogers was there and all right -- Savannah hadn't wanted to go back to her room yet. She also hadn't been in the mood to go to the beach, either. So, after trying to figure out where to go, she had decided on the roof. Finding somewhere she could sit out of the way and watch the sky, she tried to get comfortable.

She was sore, achey and upset. Not a fun combination.

She had also been kind of dumb. What had she been thinking -- trying to fight Hades like that?! Had she been oh so slightly suicidal? She was lucky that he hadn't done more damage than he had.

"Note to self, when Hell Gods attack... go around them."

Which brought her to the other part of her mood.

Johnny.

Yesterday's fight... and then the one that was even worse when she came home last night...

Things were not good and she didn't know how to fix them -- or even if they could be fixed.

"Isn't that your choice?" Mac said simply. "I guess, I can see why he might not like it, but--" she shrugged a little lopsidedly.

Mac nodded slowly. "I avoided them like plague," she admitted. "I'm more for the research."

"The angels--" Mac paused as she pulled back the details of that little invasion. "Was it three days for you?"

Mac chewed on her lip. "Nine months gone, and to come back to find everything exactly the same..." She trailed off and shook her head.

"Oh." Mac was going to assume that wasn't in the good sort of way. "That-- uh, extreme."

"You make my last few days look like picnic time."

"In general, tying people to beds against their will? Bad," Mac said with a shake of her head.

"Also, in this case, kinda hypocritical."

Mac shook her head again, looking out towards the next door island.

"I guess he thought--" She paused. "Actually I don't know what he thought. But it was a really dumb way to try and keep you safe."

"Boys can be dumb," Mac stated simply.
