Second Floor Common Room [evening]

She'd been forewarned by Peter (and with Willow around, she was even less surprised) that the technology would be much advanced in comparison to what they knew. So when she discovered the televisions in the common rooms as she explored, Susan wasn't shocked or surprised so much as intrigued.

It took her a little while to work out how everything functioned, between the screen and the little rectangular thing with the buttons. However, once she understood that pointing the thing at the television and pressing the buttons was a way to control it, Susan made herself comfortable on the couch with some tea, and slowly began to peruse the channels.

[open as common rooms are!]

"No, Lego. Lego. One word. It's a brand of blocks. They're brightly colored blocks that snap together and hurt like a motherfucker when you step on them," Hannibal said eloquently.

"Are you the language police?" Hannibal asked, raising an eyebrow. "You step on a Lego and tell me they don't hurt like a motherfucker."

"Yeah, well I'm a King," he said because he was, "and I can say whatever the hell I want in a public area. I didn't see a stupid no bad language sign unless it's only visible to your eyes. I'm just talking about Legos, here. Come on."

"Methinks my kingdom is slightly different than yours," Hannibal said. "Mine has beer. And Doritos. And no language rules. Do you want me to use sign language?"

"It's a food," he said, gesturing with his hand. "Potato chip that's covered in orange and stains your fingers which in turn stain your shirt. Always nice to go out having orange stains on your shirt."

"I'm a very relaxed King," he said, smiling. "I could help you with that, you know. Work out all that tenseness, get you past those language issues. It could be like a club!"

"Aw shucks," Hannibal said, shaking his head. "There go my hopes and dreams of participating in every extracircular club I could find or invent. My parents will be ever so disappointed."
