Torn Toga Party! [Friday evening/night]

The deck was completed, and ready to be used.

The workers had cleared out just in time for the food and drink to be set out, and the coloured lights to be strung along the roof.

There was music, and space to dance on the lawn, and a cool breeze to cut through the heat of the day.

[ooc: In honour of Tiny Toons being released on DVD today, there are random containers of mango juice lying about. Also, any drinks may become mango juice. If a character drinks and says 'Ah! Mango juice!' an inflatable palm tree will fall on their head. Open to all once as the OCD is up!

"Then I guess it's really too bad I'm here all dry," she said with a shrug, though she was definitely up for suggestions.

"You know, I'd offer to toss the juice on you," he said, wriggling his glass a little, "but that wouldn't get me anything but slapped. So. I could make suggestions."

"Hmm. Let's see..." He moved to set his drink on the table and said, "Well, there's the rain but what if there's a breeze? Then, it's colds and cough syrup all around. No fun at all."

"My thoughts exactly," Hannibal said. "So, next. There's the classic...pool. But, the pool here is on school grounds. That's no fun. Sprinklers? Ever gone running through sprinklers, Brooke?"

"Could be," he said and smiled. "And then there's the old standby which is sometimes...the best. The shower."

"And what's the problem with that?" Hannibal asked. "Especially if you had a kind, compassionate friend with you?"

He was those things. Sometimes.

Brooke made a show of looking around for a moment before back at him. "I think you'll do."

"Oh, me?" He put a hand to his chest. "Well. If I say I accept, would that be too formal?"

"I'd say you could balance it out by heading back with me then," she said.

"No one in your room?" Hannibal asked hopefully. "I've got a roommate and I'd hate for her to walk in during a very boring shower."
