Torn Toga Party! [Friday evening/night]

The deck was completed, and ready to be used.

The workers had cleared out just in time for the food and drink to be set out, and the coloured lights to be strung along the roof.

There was music, and space to dance on the lawn, and a cool breeze to cut through the heat of the day.

[ooc: In honour of Tiny Toons being released on DVD today, there are random containers of mango juice lying about. Also, any drinks may become mango juice. If a character drinks and says 'Ah! Mango juice!' an inflatable palm tree will fall on their head. Open to all ~~once~~ as the OCD is up!

"Just a 'hey, I know what this guys thinking!' sort of thing. Be pretty cool if you ask me. But... my girlfriend is going to freak."

"What? She's not into head ridges?"

Johnny... actually considered that for all of two point five. "What? I'm not touching her. I might not like this body or face, but dude, I'm respecting the body."

...

"'Course I could get Worf laid..." he groaned. "Forget I said that."

...oh, no, Cal. That was a bad idea.

It was a good thing that he valued his friendship with Worf as much as he did, that was all he was saying, because that was the main thing from preventing him from actively pursuing that.

"As much as he needs it," he informed the impostor, "I would not want to be back in your shoes once Worf realized that you used his body for sex."

Johnny raised his bush Worf brows. "Guys hard up is he?"

"Well, I don't know for certain," Cal said, "but, even if he did have women flocking to him, I doubt he'd deem any of them worthy of a warrior like himself."

"He's a warrior?" Johnny seemed to consider this. "So the guy is a badass. Cool. You talk to him often?"

Cal considered the most fitting response to that question.

"Yeah; he's probably one of my best friends here."

...and what an unlikely pair. Johnny chuckled.

"So he'd kill me for getting him laid, you think? Not that my girlfriend would agree." But it might be fun to tease her.

"I...don't think he'd appreciate it," Cal said, carefully; he really didn't want to think that much on the prospect of Worf having sex. Despite himself, he shuddered a little. "In the long run."

And that poor, poor girl.

Yes. A freaking Savannah could do harm. Worf might not appreciate it.

Still...

"I gotta sleep somewhere, man."

"...I didn't realize that sleeping somewhere and sleeping with someone were synnonomous," Cal remarked.

Although it did bring him a rush of bittersweet memories regarding sleeping arrangements in a certain cabin in Petosky.

"We share a room and a bed," he explained.

"You can share a bed without sex involved," Cal pointed out. And he could even attest to that; he and the Object didn't start messing around until that summer. Just because he'd thought about doing more in the sleepovers prior to that meant nothing.

"Or you could sleep on the floor."

"You haven't seen my girlfriend." Johnny thought it was a feasible explanation, yes.

"Yeah, but has your girlfriend seen you?"

Also quite feasible a counterpoint.

"I've been avoiding that confrontation," he admitted.

"Yeah, something tells me that the sleeping situation won't be a problem once she does," Cal said, shaking his head.

"No offense to Worf, of course."

"No no, none taken. I'm usually totally hot. You're in my fitness class. Johnny Storm," he finally said, holding out his hand. "Actually I've seen you in the gym too."

"Sorry," Cal said, taking Worf's hand although it was not for Worf that he took it for. "I'm not really sure who you are; there are a lot of people in that class and I see a lot of people in the gym. But I'm Cal Stephanides. Hi. You'll have to wave or something when you're not Worf."

"I'll make a point of it," he replied, giving Cal's hand a firm shake.

Johnny was missing his body. In such a bad way.

"How come you didn't volunteer?"

"I like my brain where it is, thanks."

Of course, it was a bit more complicated than that, but Johnny didn't need to know that.

"Yeah," he rubbed Worf's ridges again. "This is just too weird. I don't know what to think. It's like I can't think and I still haven't found myself yet."

"Well, that's because....you're...not yourself..."

This was starting to feel surreal. It was like talking to an idiot Worf.

Yes, well, wait till Cal got to talk to the real Johnny.

It's just a mask, baby!

"I haven't seen me walking around yet. Where am I? What if the Worf me is with my girlfriend and I don't know it? Man..."
