Torn Toga Party! [Friday evening/night]

The deck was completed, and ready to be used.

The workers had cleared out just in time for the food and drink to be set out, and the coloured lights to be strung along the roof.

There was music, and space to dance on the lawn, and a cool breeze to cut through the heat of the day.

[ooc: In honour of Tiny Toons being released on DVD today, there are random containers of mango juice lying about. Also, any drinks may become mango juice. If a character drinks and says 'Ah! Mango juice!' an inflatable palm tree will fall on their head. Open to all ~~once~~ as the OCD is up!

"Gah, it's in my head now!" Damn monks!

"Breathe, Teddy!" Hannibal laughed. "Breathe in and out."

"Next time I visit my sister, I'm taking pictures of the monks to show you why I'm so freaked out!" Because, really.

Pacifist or not, that was never something he needed to think about.

"Think of something good?" Hannibal said. "Um, sunsets! Or your boyfriend when he is not a girl!"

If he had anything to throw, Teddy would be throwing it at Hannibal now.

"Okay, so that worked a little."

"You're kind of easy to make flail," Hannibal decided.

"Because I've met aliens and have a vague idea of what to expect with some of them," Teddy pointed out. "It's like... a pile of spaghetti."

"Oh, ew." And now Hannibal was seeing mental images. "No need to share with the class!"

"You deserve that one," Teddy insisted, rubbing his eyes to clear the image.

"If I end up dreaming about that, I am going and stealing something of yours," Hannibal said. "Something good."

"You touch my comics and I'll show you what else I can shift into," Teddy warned.

"Please tell me you can't shift into a clown," Hannibal checked.

"I was thinking something with claws and scales, but that's kinda scary too..."

"Thank you!" Hannibal was glad to find someone who thought clowns were creepy. "Anyone who wears that much makeup and puts a horn in my face is creepy."

"And shows up around kids all the time," Teddy added with a shudder.

"Ew, yes." Hannibal shuddered right along with him. "And honestly, with pants that big, I'm scared of what he's hiding."

Wait wait.

"Weapon wise! Real weapon wise!"

Too late. Teddy was already laughing.

"Of course!"

"Shut up," Hannibal said and sulked a little.

"It's okay." Teddy went to pat him on the arm. "I still respect you."

Hannibal made another face. "Spaghetti!"

"Clowns," Teddy shot back, still laughing. A lot.

Hannibal needed something to throw. He had nothing.

So, he gave Teddy the bird.

"See if I introduce you to pretty alien women!"

"Well, see, you're sneaky," Hannibal decided. "You'd introduce me to a spaghetti woman just so you could laugh."

"But I'm sure she'd be pretty," Teddy replied.
