Torn Toga Party! [Friday evening/night]

The deck was completed, and ready to be used.

The workers had cleared out just in time for the food and drink to be set out, and the coloured lights to be strung along the roof.

There was music, and space to dance on the lawn, and a cool breeze to cut through the heat of the day.

[ooc: In honour of Tiny Toons being released on DVD today, there are random containers of mango juice lying about. Also, any drinks may become mango juice. If a character drinks and says 'Ah! Mango juice!' an inflatable palm tree will fall on their head. Open to all ~~once~~ as the OCD is up!

"This is absolutely amazing!" said Hoshi, looking carefully at Johnny's forehead ridges. And, because this was Hoshi and she had her priorities in order, she asked, "So, can you speak Klingon now, since you're in his body?"

"I.." he didn't know and didn't want to try. "No. Hoshi. Absolutely not."

"Oh," said Hoshi, looking disappointed. "So, how long does this last?"

"Till tomorrow I guess," he grumbled.

"Well, I'm sure it will be a memorable experience. I'm almost sorry I didn't sign up for it myself," said Hoshi. "How did Savannah react?"

"Um. I'm kind of hiding from her." Because he thought that was smart of him, yes.

"Hey, you've got the perfect disguise. She'll never know it was you," said Hoshi. "What happens when she runs into the other guy in your body, though?"

Oh no. Johnny hadn't thought about that!

"What if he tries to have sex with her! Oh my god!"

Hoshi turned pink. "Yeah, that probably wouldn't be good. It might be very bad, actually. Maybe you should talk to him and kind of set up some ground rules for what he can and can't do?" she suggested.

"But he didn't seem like the type of guy who would take advantage of Savannah like that. I mean, I only met him briefly, but he seemed so polite."

"I haven't seen myself yet!" Johnny flailed.

He quieted a bit at her last remark. "Polite?"

"Yes, he was very well-mannered," said Hoshi. "It turns out that we might actually be from the same universe but from different times, so he was concerned about how much he could tell me about his time."

Oh. "Cool. I guess. I'm just kind of freaked still so you'll have to ignore me not being interested in his universe. I just... this forehead, you know?"

"It's really not that bad," said Hoshi. "You look very noble, actually."

"But... I can't fire up. I have no abilities. I... you know how hot I am, right?"

Hoshi looked flushed. "Personally, I have no knowledge of temperatures that you can reach," she said.

"Well I was speaking outward appearance-wise but okay, my normal body temp is 209."

"So now you're just a lot cooler than normal?" asked Hoshi, tilting her head to one side.

"...noooo, I'm hotter. A human's normal body temp is 96, Hoshi."

Hoshi could not resist rolling her eyes. "I knew that. What I meant is... Nevermind what I meant. Really, I think you're making this worse than it really is. It's a very unique experience to be able to walk a mile in someone else's shoes, literally."

Johnny was a little slow, all right ~~his mun is zomg ready to drop~~. "No. No. I like my shoes. I want them back."

Hoshi sighed. "Then why don't you go find yourself and get your shoes back?" she said, rapidly losing patience with Johnny's logic, or lack of it.

"It doesn't work like that, Hoshi," Johnny whined, which looked utterly ridiculous on the face of Worf.

"All you have to do is knock him on his ass and take his shoes, which are actually your shoes," said Hoshi, very slowly. "Do you think you can do that?"

Johnny covered his face with his hand. "I... was speaking metaphorically. With the shoes... nevermind."

"You know, Johnny, you might as well just accept that you're different now and learn to enjoy it," said Hoshi. "Sure, you're not as hot anymore, but I think you're bigger now."
