Torn Toga Party! [Friday evening/night]

The deck was completed, and ready to be used.

The workers had cleared out just in time for the food and drink to be set out, and the coloured lights to be strung along the roof.

There was music, and space to dance on the lawn, and a cool breeze to cut through the heat of the day.

[ooc: In honour of Tiny Toons being released on DVD today, there are random containers of mango juice lying about. Also, any drinks may become mango juice. If a character drinks and says 'Ah! Mango juice!' an inflatable palm tree will fall on their head. Open to all once as the OCD is up!

"You were going to do that?" Ned asked, one eyebrow going up.

"No, not really. But the option was there," Lois said. "But now I promise not to do it."

"Because I caught you," Ned said and waggled a finger. "And you wanted one of my pies. Now, I'll just have to think about it."

"Aww," Lois pouted. "That's not fair."

"No pouting allowed," he said and covered his eyes with his hands. "That's not fair."

Lois pouted some more. "I don't remember there being a 'no pouting' rule."

"I just made it," he decided, still hiding his eyes and waving his free hand. "No pouting by punishment of Ned's wrath."

He even added in some nonsensical sounds to make it sound magical.

"Oh god, I wouldn't want to incur your wrath," Lois said, laughing. "Okay, I'm not pouting anymore. Just smiley Lois."

"My wrath can be vengeful!" Ned proclaimed even though, no, it really wasn't. He peeked out from behind his hand.

There was just a smiley Lois standing there. "See? Smiling. No need to throw a pie at me or whatever it is you do to punish people."

"I would never throw a pie," he said, almost surprised. What a waste. "I would pout back. I'm a pretty good pouter. Maybe even shed a tear."

"It's a talent." It wasn't, it was a line.

"That's quite a talent. And could easily be used for evil," she pointed out. "It's a good thing you're so nice."

"See, now you're getting the idea," Lois said, grinning widely. "And who wouldn't want to be doubly nice?"

"You can see my arms already," he said, wiggling his arms and short sleeved shirt at her. "Half nice?"

Lois smiled. "Half nice is good. Not as good as doubly nice but, still, it's good."

"Maybe one day I'll forget and take my shirt off," he said. "Or catch me in the mornings. Sometimes it happens then."
