The Gym; Wednesday Morning.
Not that he was obsessed or anything, but Cal, even though he'd handwavily been up all night writing, still made himself go down to the gym fairly early, wanting to squeeze in a decent set of weights before he went about his errands for the day. Well, errand, really. Whatever. He did some lazy stretching for a bit longer than usual and then hopped up on a treadmill, hoping the running would wake him up a bit before he put himself between a bench and considerable weights.

"Morning," he said, pulling the towel off his shoulder to discard for his stretches, then paused as he found a lemon, neatly wrapped in the fabric. "...Hm." He couldn't recall bringing it-- nor had anyone had the time to slip it in during his walk.
He studied it, trying to hide his surprise.

"Like a bitch," he decided. "I gotta switch it up a bit, though; I think I'm getting too top-heavy."

Especially if this one was going to turn out to be another one of the 'regulars'. He began to loosen his shoulders.

Whichever it was, Ender didn't return the smile, but he nodded back and said, "I'm Ender, and I just got here." That covered everything. He waited for a reaction.

"Hi," he waved a little before picking up another set of weights to add to what he was already doing.

From what he'd learned of this island so far, it seemed likely.

She spent some time over at the practice swords before selecting one and walking to an out-of-the-way area of the mats, where she began to work on her form.

...and then promptly, upon seeing who it was, lost his footing on the treadmill a little as his feet tangled slightly in each other from the sort of surprised coincidence. There was a stagger, a slightly flailing of long legs and a reach forward to grip onto the machine with his long arms as he fought to not let the pull of the tide of his ceased movement from pulling him under and tossing him roughly off the treadmill.
Thankfully, the quick scramble to regain his composure had been successful, and, a moment later, Cal was back to his previous pace, but cloaked in a thick sheen of extreme embarrassment. He paid extra attention to seeming like it hadn't happened, that it hadn't happened because that girl whose body Amber was in over the weekend had walked into the gym, and grateful for the fact that face was already red from the exertion of his exercise.
