Fightin' Fox Cabin, Sunday Afternoon

Dawn was trying very hard not to resent the cabins for taking away two weeks of her last few weeks living with Sam, but it wasn't working as well as she wanted it to. To distract herself (and because she had to do it if she expected to sleep anyway), Dawn was outside the cabin, drawing protective sigils on the outside of the window sills near her bunk.

Salting the inside would be next.

[ooc: Open to cabinmates, anyone who's wondering what she's up to, wants to help, or wants her to stop.]

Lana nodded. "Yeah. Though honestly, I'm kind of hoping it isn't necessary in New Haven. But what are the odds of that?"

"Yeah, it's hard to not be able to tell people about 90 percent of the things you've experienced in your life," Lana agreed.

Lana nodded. "That must have been wonderful for you," she said quietly.

"Really?" Lana asked curiously. "How's that?"

Lana nodded. "I guess that would be hard." She thought about her relationships here. "It wasn't so much an issue for me here. It wasn't stuff any of them had ever heard of before. And with Joe... I couldn't tell him anything. Had to make up most of my life."

Lana was quiet for a long moment. "It was when I was trapped in the past. I couldn't exactly tell anyone much of anything. I did tell him eventually, when he found the note Sam left me about a way home. But he just thought I was crazy then."
