Adorable Panda Campfire, Sunday Night

Ella was more than slightly fond of the cabins and campfires; they reminded her of home, and it saddened her a little to know they'd be moving back to the dorms soon.

Determined to enjoy the time she had, she kindled a fire despite the warmth of the night and spread out a blanket on the ground nearby, then sprawled out to stare at the flames.

She absently hoped no one would trip over her.

"Is that your charity work?" Ella asked. "There's no need to talk to him specifically for me, I doubt he would remember me." She had put some energy into making sure he wouldn't, after all.

"But if you could get the general message across," she added, after a flicker of thought, "it might not go amiss."

Laughing a little, Cal shook his head. "I don't see it as charity work. The guy's my friend, as much as everyone gives me an odd look when I say that." And he was really the only real good guy friend Cal had ever had; he had no idea how Worf felt about the relationship, but Cal knew that he valued it pretty highly. "Kind of like a brother, actually. So it's no big deal at all."
