Around the Dorms, Wednesday Afternoon

Sam had noticed Joan in the lobby yesterday, and realized he should probably get on with campaigning for the Student Council as well. Since he wasn't really the "sit and give people baked goods" type, he was going around and taping up bright, multi-colored fliers around the dorm, hoping that would be a good start.

"Exactly." Another smile, and Turtle thought about asking Sam for one of his fliers to see what was on them, but a quick glance told her what she needed to know. "Well, I'll let you get back to work, then. It was nice seeing you, though. Here's to hoping!" She held up her hands, fingers twisted, crossed in anticipation of luck.

"Yeah, here's hoping," Sam said, sounding sincere about it. If they both won, they'd both get what they wanted, and there was nothing wrong with that as far as Sam was concerned.
