Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening
Tony settled into his now-familiar spot on the couch to watch this week's episode of Darkest Night. Tonight it was the "Headless Horseman," though in this cleverly updated version, the Horsemen were a Vancouver minor league baseball team. For snacks tonight he had the usual popcorn, along with a pack of Rockets (mislabelled by some American company as "Smarties") and a bomb bottle of cola.

"Hey dude," Hurley said. "What is this?"

Which was why he made his way to the common room again this Wednesday. He smiled at Tony and took a place on the couches, putting out some of the Snickerdoodle cookies that'd been left over from work.
"Mind some company?"

"That's why they're out," he said mildly before snatching one.
"Take as many as you like. They're extras from work."

He looked over.
"You?"

So, you know. Awkward.
"Matched up? Did you do the matchmaker thing?"
no subject
"It seemed better than not going," he admitted.
"Going with Andrew?"
There wasn't any awkwardness for him, not since he and Andrew had talked.

"I was matched up with Penelope, and we get along well enough, so I figure we'll have a good time."
He leaned back.
"Do you dance?"

"Tony," she nodded in greeting. "Is same kind of story as last week?" she asked, peering at the screen curiously.
