Second Floor Common Room, Monday Afternoon
Ender had lived through much worse than this weekend.
The reason he hadn't made it out of his room until the afternoon had more to do with the fact that he had had some trouble remembering exactly what that 'much worse' had been. But, after some time berating himself on being ridiculous about it, he'd left the bed armed with his usual sense of perspective, and now he'd ambled into the common room to make some lunch.
It didn't amount to much more than a few sandwiches, but he wasn't really that hungry anyway.
