After a few good hours of wallowing, Ben made his way down to the gym to work off his tension in a more productive way.

The punching bag might not be all that appreciative of it, given the way the chain was squealing each time Ben hit it.

Jaina couldn't help but remember Leia's words, about how the people you went through wars with were the people you'd depend on your whole life. "It's so weird to hear some of this sometimes, and go back where it's... not like that at all."

Ben nudged his shoulder against hers. "It will be," he promised. "That part has to be the same regardless of galaxy."

"Yeah, we'll see about that," she said. "There's no telling where things go AU."
