Triela was sitting less comfortably than usual as people showed up for the club. This was probably due to the fact that she was wearing a dress, which wasn't something she had done in Fandom before.

Priscilla wasn't a handler, but she was technically an authority figure within the Agency. Her idle suggestion wasn't an order, either. Those two things combined in a way that meant Triela could have fought off the compunction to wear a dress to club, but she'd woken up with some serious nausea, and she knew that fighting her programming would push her over the edge.

So there she sat in a simple white sundress looking oddly out of place and apparently unconscious of the cold.

"That's what you said. So... Thought I'd see for myself."

There really wasn't more of a plan than that. Maybe juggling. Or stupid bets.

"Okay..." Triela stood up slowly.

"Tell me when you're ready." She wasn't adverse to giving him a black eye.

"I was born ready," he said, standing his ground, arms loose.


This would not be pretty.

"If you say so," Triela's tone was doubtful.

Then she snapped her fist out, aiming directly for his cheek. It turned out that cybernetic arms really were faster than regular arms.

...she was fast. It wasn't a solid hit. Really. Well, totally solid. He managed to dodge it. A bit. Hey, that last knuckle totally didn't connect.

"...ow. You hit me!" he exclaimed, surprised.

"I thought that was the point," Triela said as she stepped away from him.

"No... the point was I can dodge it," he said, not getting the point.

"Come on. Try it again." This time, for sure.

"You're serious..." she said flatly, hoping he'd say no.

"I am." Jack's a serious guy like that. "Unless...no, I can't hit a girl."

Triela looked confused. "So... are we done here?" Or did she need to give him another black eye?

His eye really hurt. "I think we're done for today. But I haven't given up!" Dress or no dress, he'd prove himself.

Triela made a mental note to keep an eye on him. She was beginning to doubt that letting him handle guns was a remotely good idea.

"You should wear dresses more often," he stated, grinning. Ow. "I think I need that ice pack after all."
