Self-Defense Club, The Gym, Monday Afternoon

"I figured we could use some activity after eating all that turkey over the weekend," said Hoshi, passing out a handout on taekwondo stances. "Today, we'll be working more with taekwondo, a form of martial arts that is derived from Korea, as opposed to the Japanese karate. We'll start with the stances on the handout, and if you're feeling more adventurous, try a couple of the kicks."

*sigh* Found some karate videos on YouTube, but Firefox kept crashing every time I tried to view them, and researching the problem just led to more stuff. At least I can always rely on Wikipedia.

Also, AutoCorrect keeps suggesting "Wonderbra" as the correct spelling of "Taekwondo."

Viki hummed slightly as she set about stretching. It was a nice feeling, really, once you started.

Amber was definitely stretching. It felt gooood!

Naomi definitely made sure that she did some stretching.

In her black fitted yoga pants, and little work out top, Amber got into the kicking groove rather easily.

Oh lord no. He kind of forgot about the club meeting on Monday and the fact that Amber would probably be there.

Maybe he could just hide.

Don't mind the teacher being avoidy behind his coffee mug.

Cal took care to stretch. There wasn't a lot of effort, but there was at least care.

"Er...no? I'm just, um, keeping my hands warm."

Yah, sure.

"So... how was your trip back?"

Let's just avoid any talk of awkward happenings during the trip out.

"It was fine," she smirked. "How was yours?"

"It was great. I hung out with the guys, had some turkey, got to fly," he nodded. "The trip back was great. Really great."

Ha! Kicking! Turtle rocked that one out, that was for sure!

"Yah? That's great."

A beat.

"How was Loretta?"
