Fourth Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

There were things to think about and plans to make after some conversations last night and Hannibal felt a little cooped up and restless in his own room so he grabbed a pillow and headed down to the common room.

There wasn't any made up games tonight. Just a boy, a pillow, a movie that he wasn't really watching, a notepad of scribbled notes (that he can't believe he's actually taking) and a pizza on the floor in front of him.

He just hoped he could read his notes (silly and unnecessary as they were) since he was staining the paper with pizza from his fingers.

"Oooh, on who?" Hannibal asked.

Amber blinked at him, thinking. Wondering if she should tell. "He doesn't really know, I don't think. What if it's meantioned on radio and he's all like 'uh?' and then I'd be stupid embarrassed forever."

"No problem," he said and laughed. "No telling. Do you think he wants to with you?"

"Well, his kisses tell me yes, but in his mind? I'm not so sure. I don't want it to be just a ... thing, you know? That would be too slutty on my part and I don't think I can do that. I like him. I want him to like me."

Forget what happened with Chuck oh my god.

"So, you don't want a one night stand," he said, nodding. "Understandable. You could always ask him."

"Ask him? Like... just ask him if he wants to, you know?"

Amber felt stupid for not telling Hannibal who she was talking about. It could hurt nothing. Right?

"And it's Liir. I'm sharing that because you care. Right?"

"I care about you," he said, nodding. "And yeah, just ask him."

"That kind of sounds dirty," she said, grinning slightly.

"How would you respond if a girl asked you something like that?"

"It depends on the girl," he said. "But, I'd answer honestly, nonetheless."

Amber twisted her lips. "I think rejection might suck."

"Can't think like that," he said quietly. "But, if he does, at least you'll know before it goes too far?"

"True," she acknowledged that with a slow smile. "I do like him, so maybe."

"What do you want for Christmas?"

"World peace," he said with an absolute straight face.

"Better than sex?" she asked, not too terribly serious.

"Well, no, I want that too," he said and laughed.

"Oooh? Have a particular somebody in mind?"

"Perhaaaaaaaaps," he said and smiled. "I might."

"Does her name happen to start with an A?" She was totally talking about Angela here and not herself. But she was amused anyway.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," he said and chuckled.
