third floor common room - monday night - 01/05
As Liir had spent quite enough time in his room, he decided tonight not just to cook (anything but brownies) but to stay out in the common room to do his work.
As such, there was a pot of thick, hearty soup and a sliced loaf of dense beer bread left out for anyone to take while Liir, with his dog on the couch beside him, worked on something using one of the massive magic tomes he'd pulled from the shelf in his room.
[very very open omg missed everyone]

He grinned.
"I work there Wednesdays. When, er, when I'm able to."

"Do you like to cook then? Or do you let the kitchen do the work?"
He wouldn't mind either way; he was just curious.

Lion-o may have neglected to mention that Snarf was a small, chubby, furry creature.

He'd heard of servants sleeping at their master's door, but never at the foot of their bed.
"And your roommate?"
no subject
"You've probably heard of Toby. He's the guy who always walks around without a shirt, and he used to do the radio on Wednesday nights," said Lion-o.

"Since Lurlinemas," he said with a grin.
"She was a gift from my father."
no subject
"Lurlinemas? Is that like Christmas?" he asked.
no subject
"But otherwise, they're rather different."

It was really Snarf who obtained and wrapped the presents, but Lion-o would have been just as happy about them.

"Thundera?"

He was still a little shaky on those, and how they worked.

"I sort of stumbled here through a doorway in the Emerald City. I'm assuming, then, some manner of magic.
"The last time someone came to Oz from a place like this one, however, it was by tornado."
