The Lobby, Tuesday evening

The rain was *still* dripping down, so Dinah had decided to play practice with her new purchases in the lobby instead.

zziiing!

The Room-a-rang bounced off the couch, hit the banister railing, cornered off the fish-tank, then zipped back toward Dinah... landing a couple feet short of where she stood.

"Arrrgggh."

This might take a while.

Although he was very confident in Dinah's abilities...really...Chad ducked and waited as he heard the foam boomerang bounce around, feeling incredibly grateful that it was just foam and Dinah wasn't throwing it too hard.

And then Prince Oscar Pedro and the boomerang both went sliding across the floor and he could only rub his head, trying to decide if that look on the cat's face was a good one or a bad one.

It was kind of hard to tell.

Dinah wasn't sure either, which was why she stopped, and dropped to her knees. "C'mon, Prince Oscar," she pleaded. "Let it go?"

Prince Oscar Pedro seemed to feel that having brought it down, it was now his. At least judging from the way he was biting it.

Dinah darted a look over at Chad, to see if he'd caught the dragging, and gave him a weak smile.

"Don't worry," Chad said, misinterpreting the smile, "I don't think he's better than you."

She'd tell her roomie about the telekinesis soon... but not just yet. "Heh. Thanks." Dinah leaned over and tickled Prince Oscar Pedro under his chin, and got the Room-a-rang back from him finally. "Okay, if you don't chase it this time, I will... get you a big kitty pillow?"

The cat blinked, and Dinah took that for as much agreement as she'd get.
